Here are ways to trick your friends to get clicks!
Your friends or family might fall for your link the first time you give it to them, but it will be hard to get them to click on your referral link the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th times. For this very reason we have put together a list of ways for you to trick your friends and family in to clicking your referral link over and over. This will make your character much more powerful!
The first thing you need to do is make a URL redirection! What's that? A URL redirection is where you use another link like YourName.Zu5.net to go to your DrugLordsGame link! This way people can't tell where they are going before they click the link! Fill in the form below with your desired URL Redirection and click "check" to see if it's available!
Please enter your desired domain name without any extension and click on "check"
(no spaces or special characters allowed, just A-Z, a-z, 0-9, "-")
Your AIM Profile - This is a great place to put your referral link. Your AIM profile is read by all your online friends, and a lot of them like to snoop around. Try disguising your link with something clever like "A Picture of Me Wasted" (If you're of legal age). Here's how:
Type "A Picture of Me Wasted" into your AIM profile and click on the "link" button.
Copy and paste your referral link into this window (pictured above) and click OK.
Instant Messages - These things were meant for people who play this game. One of the fastest and most effective ways to get your referral link out there is through Instant Messages. Just like the crazy cool example above, you can carefully disguise your referral link in an Instant Message for the same tricky use! Pick the combination of words you want to use for the link (for example: "Check out my Drugs!") and then click the "link" button and paste your referral link into the box and click OK.
Emails - Sending a nice and friendly email with your referral link inside your message is a pretty good way to get a person to click on it. MAke sure you start the email off with your normal message you were going to send, and at the end put a phrase that looks something like, "PS: Check out this totally AWESOME website that is just SOOO TIGHT DAWG!" and then paste your secret link after it. Mass emails are considered Spam, so don't do it!
Web Pages - If you have a website, that is a great place to advertise your referral link. You can add your referral link to your main page, your content pages, your web links pages, or anywhere else throughout the site that you think will be a good spot for tricking visitors into clicking your link.
Message Boards - If you are a member of an active message board, you may want to try using your referral link in one of your posts. Then you can see how many people fall for it and watch your power go up! If you are a really active member, this could turn into a whole lot of power points for your character! But whatever you do, don't randomly post your link in random message boards! That's Spam! You will be deleted for it!
Newsgroups - If you are in a cool newsgroup, you might watnt to try putting your referral link in some of your posts. Every extra place you put your link helps you get more powerful! The more places your link is, the more powerful you will become, the higher you will be ranked!
